Alliance One International, Specialty Products (AOSP) Division LLC, has an opening for a Maintenance Technician in the Cut Rag Department.

Job Content and Duties:

-record critical machine parts (motor, drive, gearbox, pumps, valves, etc.)

-Identify common parts to minimize stocking cost. Maintain the critical part list.

-Source parts with the same spec and quality with lowest possible cost.

-Perform material transactions in SAP: receiving, dispensing per work order/PM, scheduling, ect.

-Must be able to multitask and perform work with a constant awareness of improving processes.

-Manage and schedule maintenance activities.

-Plan all activities associated with planned plant outages.

-Advise when a schedule maintenance downtime should be rescheduled and communicate and coordinate a new plan.

-Communicate regularly with operations and maintenance to be aware of engineering projects.

-Other duties as assigned by supervisors or his/her designee.

Education, Experience & Competencies Required:

-High School Diploma or equivalent.

-Strong knowledgeable about machine parts: Model/Part number, spec, manufacturer, etc

-3 years of ERP experience

-2 years of CMMS in ethanol, production, or manufacturing

-Good computer skills, Word, Outlook, Excel

-OSHA knowledge beneficial

-Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.

-Must be able to label 55 gallon drums.
